"I was sitting there for very long because they couldn't find somebody to go on stage with me. Somebody told Daniel and then Daniel told me," she said.

Was it her past? More her newness, she thinks: "When a new person comes in, it's like they think it's shady."

LifeDespite the fame, Sunny prefers a relaxed social life

Recently, photos of her Kochi visit where she was welcomed by thousands went viral.

"People try to hurt you…but numbers are something real. (The photos) just confirm in my head that I'm in the right place," she said.

But she hasn't made many friends. "I only meet people when I'm working…People get weird, it's not me they want to know, it's someone else."
