Taylor Swift's album '1989' won the 'Best Pop Album' award, while 'The Silver Lining' won the 'Best Traditional-Pop Album'.

'Best Rock Album' went to Muse's 'Drones', and the 'Best Dance/Electronic Album' to 'Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack U'.

Chris Stapleton's 'Traveller' won the 'Best Country Album of the Year', and Alabama Shakes' 'Sound and Color' won the 'Best Alternative Music Album of the Year'.

Lady Gaga's performance paid tribute to David Bowie, while John Legend, Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan, Meghan Trainor and Tyrese Gibson performed a medley of Lionel Richie's hits.

Rihanna cancelled her performance at the 58th Annual Grammys as she was suffering from bronchitis. Rihanna was forced to cancel her Grammys performance in 2009 after she was assaulted by her then-boyfriend, Chris Brown.
