The makers of Padmaavat heaved a sigh of relief when the Supreme Court allowed a nation-wide release, earlier today. But now the Karni Sena threatens dire consequences if the film is released in any state, despite SC's order.
They have threatened that all those cinema halls, which will screen the movie, will be set ablaze.
Standing strong on their stance of banning the film, the Karni Sena Chief said, "This is our last warning. We won't allow anyone to play with the dignity of Queen Padmavati, whom we hold with the highest regard. All those cinema halls, which will screen the movie, will be set ablaze."
With this, the problem seems to have intensified even further.
