Aamir Khan, who turned 51, held a press conference at his Bandra residence, Freeda One and celebrated his birthday with media like every year.

Khan shared his biggest wish and said that he wants to buy the Benaras house where his mother has been living in since her childhood.

The entire film industry is expected to gather and wish Aamir on his birthday.

Aamir Khan was born to a film producer, Tahir Hussain and Zeenat Hussain on 14 March 1965. His uncle, Nasir Hussain was a movie producer-director; his cousin Tariq Khan and brother, Faisal Khan were also actors.

Aamir Khan had made his first Bollywood appearance as a child in Nasir Hussain's Yaadon Ki Baarat, 1973.

He made his first feature film appearance in Holi, 1984.

In November 2015, Aamir Khan was sharply criticized on social media for allegedly making comments on 'moving out of India' concerning the rising 'intolerance in India' at an event.
