Ajay Devgn's portrayal of Bajirao Singham in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham' has been everyone's favorite.
After all, Bollywood got a new super-cop after Chulbul Pandey of 'Dabangg'.
Soon, Ajay became synonymous with 'Singham' and we still can't think of anyone else as Bajirao Singham.
But, now Bollywood is making another 'Singam' - 'Singham' without an 'h'. And, Ajay won't be a part of it.
Reportedly, 'Singam 3' will be the Hindi remake of superhit Tamil movie 'Singam 3' (Si3) starring Suriya.
The movie will not be made by Rohit Shetty. Instead, Jayantilal Gada of Pen Entertainment has bought the rights of Si3 for the remake of the Tamil movie.
The makers are also, reportedly, planning to take Vidyut Jammwal on board for the lead role in 'Singam 3'.
Suriya-starrer 'Singam 3' is a story of an honest IPS officer who investigates the high profile murder case of Vishakapatnam City Police Commissioner Ramakrishna IPS.
It is the third installment of the popular 'Singam' series.
Released in 2017, the movie was highly appreciated by the audience and managed to rake in a collection over Rs. 100 crore at the box office.
Reportedly, 'Singam 3' will not be the third installment of Rohit Shetty's 'Singham' series.
In fact, the movie will be completely based on Suriya's 'Singam 3' and will have no connection with Ajay Devgn's 'Singham'.
The grapevine is also abuzz that the movie will also have a different name other than 'Singam 3' to avoid confusion.
It is to be noted that the makers of 'Commando' series had also announced its third installment with Vidyut in the lead.
Reports state that the movie will feature Vidyut as a R&AW agent and will be set in London.
We wonder if 'Singam 3' will have any connection with the 'Commando' series.
Currently, Vidyut is busy with his upcoming movie 'Junglee'.
