'Stree' emerged as a dark horse

'Stree' had witnessed a box office clash with Dharmendra-starrer 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 3' and the former emerged to be the frontrunner.

YPD3 came after the first two successful instalments of the franchise.

But contrary to assumptions, 'Stree' emerged as a dark horse and collapsed YPD3's earnings.

In fact, even new releases weren't able to challenge its reign at the box office.
