Contrary to the reports, Ajaz has pleaded not guilty. He also alleged that the charges are being falsely framed against him for speaking the truth.
"If I stop speaking the truth, I can be a good person with a clean image in front of the government," Ajaz wrote on Twitter.
Interestingly, Ajaz's post will give you a sense of 'filmy desh-bhakti'.

However, Ajaz was later released on a surety of Rs. 10,000 by a Mumbai court.
