Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint by five masked men in Paris, late Sunday night.

The incident took place inside the luxury residence she has been staying at for the past few days.

Reportedly, jewellery worth millions of euros was stolen but the total value of the heist is yet to be evaluated.

Kardashian has been in Paris to attend Paris Fashion week.

Kardashian was robbed by armed masked men dressed as police officers. The robbery took place at 3 am local time.

There are conflicting reports on the number of assailants, some reports suggest five whereas others, two.

Local reports indicated that Kardashian's bodyguards were handcuffed during the incident.

The French Interior Ministry's spokesperson said Kardashian was locked in the bathroom when the robbery went down.

The local police confirmed that jewellery worth millions was stolen and that an investigation was underway.

Kardashian's husband, Kayne West, who was performing at the Meadows and Arts Festival in New York, ended the show abruptly and said, "I'm sorry, family emergency. I have to stop the show."

Kardashian's spokesperson said in a statement that Kim Kardashian was "badly shaken" but was physically unharmed.

According to reports, NBC has offered Kim millions of dollars along with an option to choose a journalist of her choice to conduct the interview.

NBC is reportedly panicking because of other offers being considered by Kim.
