Kate's allegations were fabricated, claims police report
According to the police report, Kate's allegations against Ghai were fabricated and lacked substance.
It further mentioned that Ghai was upset with Kate for spreading rumors about being launched by him in Aitraaz 2.
"Ghai was upset over this fake news and stopped communicating with Kate Sharma and Yogesh Sardana which upset the complainant and hence made allegations against Subhash Ghai," the report mentioned.
Police closes the case against Ghai
Although Kate had filed a police complaint against Ghai, she later withdrew it citing personal reasons. As a result, the police chose to close the case.
"Kate gave the reason for her mother's illness and withdrew her complaint stating that she had no further complaint. Since no substance was found in Kate's allegations the matter has been closed," read the report.

Earlier, Kate expressed displeasure over 'due process'
A few days ago, Kate stated she decided to withdraw the complaint as the 'due process' disappointed her.
She claimed there was no progress in the case and no arrest was made.
"Cops asked me if I wanted to register an FIR, but I don't see any reason for moving ahead to get justice. I am fed up of everything," Kate had said.
Backstory: Ghai tried kissing me forcibly, alleged Kate
To recall, Kate had alleged the filmmaker demanded sexual favors in return of a Bollywood launch.
She also claimed that Ghai called her to his place and asked her to give him a massage in front of other people.
Later, he took her to his room under the pretext of discussing something where he allegedly tried kissing her forcibly.
Ghai had rubbished the allegations, defended himself
Meanwhile, Ghai has expressed his displeasure over the allegations and said that they were fabricated to tarnish his image.
He mentioned that while he supports #MeToo movement, he condemns women using the campaign to catapult themselves to stardom.
"Hope that those taking undue advantage of the movement do not end up diluting it for their own short time fame," Ghai said.
