Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collections and said that the business witnessed a 34.48 percent growth.

Taran further mentioned that while Kedarnath has managed good collections so far, the opening weekend will be quite crucial.
However, he also emphasized the movie is likely to witness an upward trend on the third day.
Notably, Kedarnath will witness a competition from Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar's 2.0 which released last week, amid immense fan frenzy.

The love story between a Muslim pithoo and a Hindu woman ruffled few feathers and the allegations of 'promoting love jihad' were leveled.
Uttarakhand minister Satyapal Maharaj claimed Kedarnath didn't follow the culture and is factually incorrect.
Therefore, to maintain law and order it was banned in Uttarakhand.
