Aquaman released in India on December 14, a week before it hit the US theaters.
Since then, the James Wan-directed DC Extended Universe superhero movie has been making waves at the box office.
Although met with mixed reviews, but praised for its visual effects, the film had a successful opening weekend at the box office and continues to enjoy popularity.

For those unaware, the film explores the journey of Arthur Curry, half human, half Atlantean, as he must embrace his destiny to become Aquaman, the hero Atlantis deserves.
On his quest, he must fight his half-brother Orm, the King of Atlantis, who is bent on waging war between the water world and the land dwellers.
Curry must become a better king and rule Atlantis.
Aquaman had a phenomenal opening at the Box Office, making Rs. 28 crore on the first weekend itself.
During its continued run, it raised Rs. 39 crore from the India Box Office, cementing its position as a successful film in our country.
However, it is interesting to note that DC's previous venture Justice League had performed similarly at the Box Office, proving DC's popularity.
The film's success at the box office is bolstered by the stellar star cast including Jason Momoa as Aquaman.
Also starring are Amber Heard as warrior princess Mera, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, Patrick Wilson as Orm, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.
Besides English, the film released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, in India, thus reaching a wider audience.
Although DC's performance is notable, Marvel did even better at the Box Office with Thor: Ragnarok making Rs. 34 crore on the opening weekend.
More anticipated films like Avengers: Infinity War minted Rs. 100 crore on the opening weekend.
The Box Office reflects increasing love for superhero movies in our country.
Even our films are tapping into this fervor with successful releases like 2.0.
