In India, eateries and restaurant owners keep coming up with new marketing tactics to boost their business like naming dishes after celebrities and pop culture icons.
Many netizens found it amusing, and among them was Deepika herself.
Twitter user, Rohit Bhasy yesterday posted the picture of the menu The Legendary Paranthas Thali.
The thalis were named after the "many legends in India" such as Sunny Deol Parantha Thali, Yuvraj Singh Parantha Thali, Akshay Kumar Parantha Thali, Yo Yo Honey Singh Parantha Thali, etc.
Also, the thalis aren't cheap; their prices range from Rs. 450 to Rs. 1,100.
Legendary people, legendary costs!
Coming to the Deepika Padukone Parantha Thali, it will cost you Rs. 600, and you will receive Veg. Tiranga Sabzi (we don't know what that is), Dal Makhni, Rajma Chole, Sweet Dish-2, Parantha-1, Raita, Salad, Papad, Achaar, and Makkhan in it.
Rohit had particularly circled the Deepika thali and netizens were loving it.
As soon as Deepika saw it, she gave a cheeky reply.

While Deepika's reply certainly made Rohit's day, netizens loved the light-hearted nature of the actress, with mostly replying her with laugh emojis.
Others said, "He he extra 'Makhan maar k' @deepikapadukone."
Many users also commented that Deepika Padukone Parantha thali's price is on the higher side, however others quickly pointed out that the thaalis named after Madhuri Dixit and Baahubali are the costliest ones.
Deepika's reply over the parantha-thali came soon after she posted a story on Instagram about a Dosa named after her in a restaurant abroad.
She shared a picture of the menu card in which one of the dishes under the Dosas category was named Deepika Padukone.
The actor's caption read "hungry anyone?".
For those who are interested, the Dosa costs $10 (approx. Rs. 700).
Soon after the Padmavat's actress' Insta story, her loving husband Ranveer Singh posted an Instagram story over the dish.
And, his caption is the real icing on the cake.
In his story, he had circled the Deepika Padukone Dosa on the menu and wrote, "I'd eat that."
The duo, whose recent dreamy wedding pictures left fans 'awwing' over them, just won hearts again.
