Akshay unveils a captivating teaser of 'Kesari'
Akshay shared a teaser to give a glimpse of Kesari and it left us enthralled.
He captioned the teaser as "It's an UNBELIEVABLE TRUE STORY. Presenting the first one from the #GlimpsesOfKesari".
In the teaser, Akshay, who plays the role of a Sikh soldier, was seen holding a sword and a chakram as thousands of Afghan soldiers encircled him for an attack.

'Kesari' narrates the story of 'Battle of Saragarhi'
For the uninitiated, Kesari is based on the glorious battle of Saragarhi which is considered as the bravest battle ever fought in history.
This battle was fought between 21 soldiers of the British Indian army's Sikh Regiment and 10,000 Afghan tribesmen in September 1897.
The regiment, which was led by Havildar Ishar Singh, refused to give up and decided to fight till death.

Akshay has been teasing his fans with intriguing posters of the movie recently.
He also shared a picture of himself from Kesari flaunting his fierce look as Havildar Ishar Singh.
Akshay looked undaunting in the poster as he geared up to fight 10,000 Afghan soldiers.
Akshay wrote, "Aaj meri pagdi bhi Kesari, jo bahega mera woh lahoo bhi Kesari, aur mera jawaab bhi Kesari."

Kesari was quite demanding for Akshay
Needless to say, Akshay is quite excited about Kesari. However, his journey for the movie wasn't a cake walk.
In one of his interviews, he revealed that his look for the movie was demanding as he had to wear a heavy turban and beard.
"I'm known for hating wigs, prosthetics and so on, and Kesari is quite demanding," he had said.
Kesari marks Akshay's first collaboration with Parineeti
Apart from Akshay, Kesari also stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role. Interestingly, this is the first time Akshay will be sharing the screen with Parineeti. The movie is slated to release on March 21.
