GoT theory hints at Dany's true fate

Know the theory about Daenerys that just might change everything

Some Game of Thrones characters are simply loved by everyone and Daenerys is definitely one of them.

She symbolizes hope and a will to fight against all odds (with some support from her Dragons of course).

This new fan theory, however, might change the way we look at her and give a surprising insight about her past.

Read on to know more.

A Redditor, marisaann26 was re-watching the series when she came across what she believes is a massive clue about Daenerys.

As per a scene in Season 2, Daenerys will actually switch sides when the final battle is over!

GoT is notorious for its heart-shattering storylines and if this theory is to be believed, she might even become the 'Night Queen'.

Dany's Vision

The theory originated with a vision Daenerys had

In Season 2, Daenerys had a vision where she visited a destroyed King's Landing during winter.

She then reaches the throne room, which is covered in snow.

Instantaneously, she finds herself beyond The Wall, in a tent with Khal Drogo and their son.

She almost stays back with them but hears her dragons cry and leaves her past family behind to reunite with them.

A part of her vision has already come true

A part of her vision has already come true

In the first part of her vision, Daenerys was drawn to the wall.

This mirrors an event in Season 7 when she almost attacked King's Landing but at the last moment, went beyond the wall to save Jon Snow and company.

This part also has crying dragons, which could be a nod to Viserion's cries after he was stabbed by the Night King.

The Twist

If the second part's true, she might leave Jon's side

What if, in the final battle, her remaining dragons are killed and inducted into the undead army?

On one side, she'll have Jon and their unborn child and on the other, there'd be dragons (also her children).

If we go by her vision, she will leave her human family behind, maybe as the new Night Queen.

Was this the Night King's plan all along?

If this turns out to be true, it'll be a nightmare for Dany's fans.

This dark ending, however, is something one can expect GoT to have. In an interview, Emilia Clarke agreed that something weird is going on with Daenerys.

Her side might or might not win the battle but either way, she gets the throne - the Iron Throne or the Ice Throne!
