Satara police barged into show sets to nab Bichukale
On Friday, a police team from Satara, accompanied by personnel from the neighboring Aarey Colony Police Station in Goregaon reached the Bigg Boss house in Film city, after a Satara court issued an arrest warrant against the said participant.
Naturally, the show's crew and fellow contestants were perplexed to witness the cops in house, but there was no opposition and the arrest was peaceful.
Bigg Boss Marathi 2 inmate, Abhijit Bichukale is a politician by profession. Interestingly, he has contested many local and national-level elections, but has never won any. He is popularly referred to as Kavi Manache Nete (leader with a poetic heart) by his peers.
The said show is the Marathi alter-ego of the popular Colors TV reality show Bigg Boss. The ongoing season, hosted by Mahesh Manjrekar, premiered on May 26.
Popular contestants of this season include Maadhav Deochake (known for Humari Devrani); Lavani artist Surekha Punekar; Rupali Bhosale (Badi Door Se Aaye Hain); Parag Kanhere, a former cookery show contestant, and Shiv Thakare of Roadies fame.
