According to media reports, Prince's cousin Rupesh died of accidental drowning at a beach in Toronto while celebrating Canada Day on July 1.
Devastated by the news, Prince stated, "Can't believe that Rupesh is gone".
Talking about the incident, Prince revealed that 25-year-old Rupesh was settled in US, and had gotten married two months ago.
In fact, Rupesh's wife was expected to join him soon there.
In Toronto, Rupesh was staying with a family and "they had ventured to a beach spot on Monday."
While the family returned, Rupesh chose to stay back with a friend, Prince narrated.
Prince further said that Rupesh's friend also left the beach to pull out the car from the parking while the former stayed back.
"Rupesh's friend pulled out the car and heard a loud commotion 'doob gaya, doob gaya'. He ran back inside and they couldn't find Rupesh for 20 minutes, and when they did, he was no more," Prince told Spotboye.com.
When asked about whether he has talked to Rupesh's friend, Prince said that the friend is still clueless and confused.
"He is perplexed. He says he has no clue how Rupesh went back inside and got drowned, Paani bhi bahut jyaada nahin tha. And after that, it was only him who did everything of taking my brother to the hospital," Prince asserted.
Reportedly, Prince's parents have flown to Canada to get Rupesh's mortal remains back to the country.
"Mom and Dad have gone to bring my brother's body. Yuvika (Chaudhary, Prince's wife) is here with bhabhi. Can't believe that Rupesh is gone," Prince was quoted saying.
The reports further suggested that his funeral will be held in India, however, the details aren't revealed yet.
