After Hrithik Roshan's recent release Super 30 was declared tax-free in Bihar, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also announced that no entertainment tax would be levied on the movie in the state.
Expressing his gratitude, Hrithik thanked Gehlot on Twitter.
Interestingly, Super 30 has witnessed an impressive opening, and is raking in moolah at the box office with a collection of Rs. 75.85 crore.
Praising the Vikas Bahl directorial, Rajasthan CM called Super 30 "an inspiring movie of recent times" and an "excellent example of will power and determination".
"We must take inspiration from such films and imbibe the value of 'excellence in education' in the youth of our society today. I hereby declare this film tax-free in the state of Rajasthan," Gehlot wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Earlier, Nitish Kumar's government had also exempted Super 30 from entertainment tax in Bihar.
The exemption of entertainment tax implies that the audience will be able to purchase tax-free tickets to watch the film.
Overwhelmed with Nitish's gesture, Hrithik thanked him and his deputy Sushil Modi saying, "This is amazing Anand Sir thank you CM @NitishKumar ji and Deputy CM @SushilModi ji for this."
Meanwhile, Super 30 is going steady at the box office. Talking about it, an elated Hrithik said, "Students in school uniforms coming to cinemas was a big surprise for me. Such sights are not just delightful, but also inspiring for the makers".
Super 30 chronicles the life of mathematician Anand Kumar, who initiated the educational program Super 30 to teach 30 underprivileged students and prepare them for JEE.
Apart from Hrithik, it also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Mrunal Thakur in pivotal roles.
It also marks the Bollywood debut of Nandish Sandhu, who plays Hrithik's brother in the movie.
The movie is the last production of Phantom Films.
