In three years time, she will be 50, yet Tabu looks almost the same as she did a decade back.
Recently she revealed how she manages to stay this ageless.
While talking to BollywoodLife, the talented actress, giving out a loud laugh, said, "Yaar, it's the love from you people that makes me glow. There's no other secret."
When probed further, she revealed, "I don't work out as much as I should. I follow some basics about avoiding oily and sugary foods and that is about it. There is nothing special about my regimen."
Apart from that, Tabu has her set of rules that she follows to maintain her age-defying beauty.
The number 1 on this list is sleep, the eternal underrated beauty-secret, which she swears by.
She says that a solid sleep in the night keeps her fresh for the entire day.
In fact, beauty sleep is required to maintain the constant blood flow to your face.
When it comes to maintaining her skin, Tabu avoids the scrubs that are available in the market, and makes her own using sea salt and petroleum jelly, since she has a sensitive skin.
While sea salt is enriched with elements like magnesium, copper, potassium, and sodium, petroleum jelly is a terrific moisturizer.
She uses it before bath, and it helps exfoliate her skin.
It is common knowledge that water is extremely beneficial for your overall health, and like her contemporaries, Tabu also follows this religiously.
The Drishyam actress says that she drinks eight to ten glasses of water on a daily basis.
Drinking that much amount of water flushes out toxins from your body, thus clearing your skin, and imparting a healthy glow to it.
As far as her diet is concerned, the beauty believes in the mantra: You are what you eat.
She maintains one should eat healthy, and nothing can beat fruits in this case.
She loves eating fruits, which are loaded with Vitamin C, an antioxidant, responsible for radiant skin.
The actress also loves coconut water, which reduces pigmentation and is also full of Vitamin C.
So follow these tips, and remain as timeless as Tabu.
Want to know what's up with her on the work front? Well, She recently returned from Indian Film Festival Melbourne, where Andhadhun was screened.
She will soon start shooting for A Suitable Boy, opposite Ishaan Khatter, to be directed by Mira Nair.
Produced by BBC, it'll be an adaptation of Vikram Seth's 1993 novel.
