Nick co-founded 'Beyond Type 1' in 2005 to help diabetics
To bring forth a change in lives of fellow diabetes patients, Nick started Beyond Type 1, a non-profit working for the global diabetes community.
"I co-founded Beyond Type 1, to make sure no one feels alone with this diagnosis and to share how you can thrive with Type 1 diabetes. I'm so grateful to my fans for your support and kindness," he concluded.

Type 1 diabetics: Watch out for these symptoms
For the uninitiated, Type 1 diabetes is a chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin, a hormone that helps regulate blood sugar levels.
Common signs/symptoms of the disease are increased thirst, frequent urination, extreme hunger, sudden weight loss, fatigue, weakness, irritability, mood changes, blurred vision, among others.
Consult your doctor if you notice one or more of these signs.
