New images have surfaced from Season 7 of Game of Thrones. Looks like there's a lot happening in King's Landing as Cersei Lannister prepares for war.

She has nothing to lose. Her three kids, the driving force in her life, are all dead. Will brother-lover Jamie be able to keep her from losing control?

Elsewhere, Daenerys Targaryen, and Jon Snow are readying their forces.

Dany, Mother of Dragons, heads for Winterfell

Dany is back home, finally. She has by now conquered most of Essos, and is now eyeing her ancestral Iron Throne. For that, she will first have to take Dragonstone, previously ruled by Stannis Baratheon.

Jon SnowThe King in the North gives a rallying call

In the North, Jon Snow is upping his game. He has been reunited with Sansa, but the other siblings, Arya and Bran, still haven't arrived at Winterfell.

He has to now rally all the houses in the North. Lyanna Mormont, Tormund Giantsbane and Beric Dondarrion of Brotherhood Without Banners have already pledged allegiance.

But Petyr Baelish might just end up spoiling all his plans.

CitadelSamwell Tarly and Gilly lose themselves in books

Samwell Tarly and Gilly, meanwhile, are busy in their war-free lives at the Citadel. Sam finally feels at home.

Gilly is now studying! She has come a long way from being an illiterate wildling.

Just a reminder: Sam still possesses Heartsbane, a sword made of Valyrian steel. He said he would use it in his studies, but with GoT, one can never tell.
