Breaking stereotypes, this 19-year-old model features on Allure
It was a breath of fresh air to see the cover page of 'Allure' magazine. 19-year-old American-Somalian model Halima Aden became the first-ever to don hijab and be featured on cover of top US magazine.
Explaining her choice, Halima was vocal that it's the way she chose to interpret her religion.
'Allure' explained how it was their way of paying ode to American beauty.

Halima explained how she has been taken by surprise with the response she's been getting from the designers.
In a surprisingly casual way, Aden said how hijab is normal and it should be taken as such.
Halima is seasoned in a way to be on the cover of Allure as earlier the model featured on the front page of Vogue Arabia.
