Earthquake shakes Manipur
An earthquake of 6.7 magnitude jolted northeastern India early Monday morning at around 4:36 am.
8 people have been killed while another 100 injured in Manipur.
While the Indian Meteorological department claimed that the epicentre was in Tamenglong district, in Manipur, the state government officials said the epicentre was near Imphal.
The government is assessing the situation and providing help to those affected.
