Now week-long helpline for Class 10, 12 Bihar board students
To better help Class 10 and 12 students adapt to the changes in exam pattern, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has decided to provide them a tele-counselling facility.
However, the helpline will be active for only one week starting December 15.
The move follows the BSEB's announcement of making 50% questions of its Board exam papers objective from 2018 and including OMR sheets.
Students to also get OMR sheets for practice
Class 10 and 12 students from across Bihar can call and ask anything related to the syllabus, new exam pattern, and answering the multiple-choice questions.
Five telephone numbers will be issued on which experts (new each day) will field queries everyday between 11am and 2pm.
In a first in India, the Bihar Board will also provide dummy OMR sheets to examinees for practice.
Bihar Board is trying hard to improve its results, reputation
This is the latest in a series of attempts made by the BSEB to improve its result after 64% of its Class 12 and 49% Class of Class 10 students had failed in 2017.
The Board had previously uploaded the changed pattern and model question papers on its website to provide students and teachers adequate time for preparing as per the recent changes.
