The cut-off changes from year to year as it depends on a couple of factors like- number of students applied, marking scenario in that particular year, categories, students' performance, cut-off trends, etc. Also, the first cut-offs are generally very high. You can check last year's final cut-offs to get an idea. Here is the link for the same (Page 224 onwards).

Can we get admitted to B.Sc Home Science on the basis of last year's cut off 2017?

No. Last year's cut-offs are just to give you a rough idea of the cut-off trend and you won't get admission based on that. Fresh cut-offs will be released by DU in the month of June. You would only get admission based on this year's cut-off.

For admissions to colleges like NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs, candidates should have scored at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top twenty percentile in the class 12th exam conducted by their respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are 65% marks in class XII. For admission to other colleges accepting JEE Mains score, you can use College Predictor.

How to know B. tech cut off?

Answered by NewsBytes

DU offers B.Tech.(Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation) and Selection/Admission will be done according to the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks secured in the entrance test. So, you have to give this entrance exam first and then, when cut-off of the exam is declared, you can then check it on DU's portal.

In DU, for English Honors, the merit shall be determined on the basis of one language+three best academic/elective subjects. PE is not included in DU's list of Academic/Elective Subjects(List A). If an applicant doesn't include the subjects given in LIST A in 'Best Four', then a deduction of 2.5% of maximum marks will be levied for the purpose of calculating 'Best Four'. In Class 12 results announced by Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE), 12,737 students scored above 95%, which is equally celebratory and concerning. The remarkable performance of students means cut-off for Delhi University, which will be announced in June, will go higher than expected. For more information on this, you can check this link.
