How to make corrections in your PAN Card?

Here's how you can correct your PAN details online
To correct your details online, go to the NSDL online PAN application portal by clicking here: https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html
Now, under the "Application Type" drop-down menu, choose "Changes or correction in existing PAN data". You'll be redirected to a new page after filling in details.
A token number for your correction application request will be issued, displayed to you, and also e-mailed to you.

What are the next steps?
Check the 'Submit scanned images through e-Sign' option on the top of the page, and mention the PAN you want to get corrected, under that.
Now fill out all the required details in the form carefully.
After filling all your details, click on 'next', and in the section to open, you'll have to upload your proof of age, residence and identity.

Make payment for your application
Finally, proceed to payment.
For applicants whose communication address lies within India, the application fee is Rs. 110, and for outside-India applications, it is Rs. 1,020.
The payment can be made in a number of ways- debit/credit cards, net banking, and demand drafts.
In case of a DD, it must be signed in the name of 'NSDL-PAN', and should be payable at Mumbai.
How to apply for correction of PAN offline
For an offline application seeking correction of PAN details, download the application form online, and fill out all the required details.
This will have to be submitted at the nearest NSDL collection center, which you'll have to locate.
Along with this, you'll also have to file a letter with Jurisdiction Assessing Officer.

For every document that is required as Identity proof, the information filled must be the same. The details in Aadhar should match the details of PAN card, Voter ID card, and driving license. The same mobile number should be provided everywhere.
