Two people have died and fourteen are injured after a fire broke out at Crystal Tower situated in Parel, Mumbai, earlier this morning.
The Dean of KEM hospital, where rescued people were taken, said a total of 16 people were brought to the hospital, and 2 were dead.
One is an elderly woman, and another a male, said the dean.

Fire started on 12th floor, cranes used for rescue
Reportedly, the fire department got a call at 8:32 AM, and it is learned that fire started on the 12th floor of the building located in the posh locality.
Mumbai Fire Brigade chief P S Rahangdale said some residents were trapped on the building's staircase.
The fire was initially designated a Level-2 tag but later graduated to Level-3.
