Here's more on it.

However, police denied that they had detained four men

"We do not have any information about this. Police have not detained anyone," Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Madhur Verma said.

SC to hear Verma's plea against Center's decision

A late-night order on Tuesday from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet led by PM Narendra Modi sent CBI Director Alok Verma and Special Director Rakesh Asthana, who were at loggerheads, on leave.

The government also transferred several CBI officials and appointed M Nageswar Rao as the interim chief of the CBI.

Verma moved the Supreme Court on Wednesday challenging the government's decision.
