In a tragic incident that once again underscores the hazards of the firecrackers industry, an explosion at a firecracker factory in Uttar Pradesh's Budaun district has left at least seven people dead, while at least three people have been severely injured.
The incident comes mere weeks after a massive fire broke out at a firecracker factory in Andhra Pradesh's Kadapa.

According to preliminary reports, the explosion was powerful enough to have damaged the entire factory building.
Reportedly, one person is still trapped underneath the fiery debris, while fire engines have arrived to douse the towering flames.
The district magistrate is also reportedly present on the spot.
Meanwhile, the injured have all been admitted to the district hospital.
