At least 11 people have died and several were injured after a bus fell into a gorge in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
The bus was bound for Poonch and started the journey from Loran. It is reported it skid off the road, and fell into a deep gorge at Plera.
The registration number of the bus is JK02W0445.

The number of casualties is likely to go up.
Officials present at the spot reportedly said the driver may have lost control of the vehicle. The bus landed at the bottom of the gorge by a river bank.
Rescue operations are underway and the injured were taken to sub-district hospital in Mandi.
