The exam will take place in two-levels instead of a single exam of 100 marks, which has been the format until now. The schools will conduct an internal examination worth 20 marks, and it will determine who will be allowed to take the written exam. From 2020, the external/common exam conducted by CBSE will be of 80 marks.
