She was accompanied by her close friend and famous producer Ekta Kapoor.
Irani became a household name after playing the famous character of Tulsi Virani in Kapoor's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
Since then the two have shared a close bond which is not hidden from the industry or their fans.
So, when they decided to walk towards the famous Ganapati temple, it didn't come as a surprise.
Notably, Kapoor shared snippets of their journey.
Before starting the journey, Kapoor shared a video and told her followers that Irani was all set to walk towards the temple barefoot.
Later, the producer shared a post on Instagram and in the caption she wrote, "14 km to Siddhi Vinayak ke baad ka glow(sic)."
Notably, Kapoor's son, Ravie, also joined the duo on their temple visit.

In 2003, Irani joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. She fought her first general elections in 2004 against Congress' Kapil Sibal from Chandni Chowk constituency.
Although she lost, she became a formidable force in the party.
In 2014, Irani showed she doesn't shy away from challenges. She fought against Rahul in Amethi but lost by a margin of over one lakh votes.
Despite losing, Irani didn't ditch Amethi and as a result, citizens chose her over Rahul.
Interestingly, Amethi has essentially been the bastion of Gandhi family and was represented in Lok Sabha by Rahul's father Rajiv Gandhi too.
Post-victory, Irani quoted Dushyant Kumar's poem and tweeted, "Kaun kehta hai aasmaa me surakh nahinho sakta" (Who says you can't drill a hole in a sky).
