Cracking these entrances isn't easy; while lakhs of candidates appear, only some of them can clear these exams with a good score.
Here are some NEET and AIIMS toppers for this year and their inspiring stories.
Bhavik Bansal of Delhi topped the AIIMS MBBS entrance this year and bagged AIR 1, scoring a 100 percentile in the coveted exam.
Notably, he is also one of the toppers of the NEET 2019; he secured AIR 2 in the entrance test with a score of 700/720 marks.
The 17-year-old topper wants to study at AIIMS, New Delhi and aspires to pursue research.
Nalin Khandelwal of Rajasthan's Sikar district emerged as the topper of NEET 2019, bagging AIR 1 with a score of 701/720 marks in the exam.
He enrolled in Jaipur's Allen Career Institute for preparation and worked hard for two years to crack NEET.
Khandelwal, who scored 95.8% in Class-12, said that he stayed away from social media and smartphones while preparing for NEET.
Harsh Agarwal, who hails from Rajasthan's Kota, secured AIR 5 in the coveted AIIMS MBBS exam this year. He secured a 99.99 percentile in the same.
The Kota boy also cracked the NEET 2019, with AIR 30 and a score of 687/720 marks.
Harsh, who obtained 94.2% in Class-12, had to battle depression for a few months before clearing these medical entrance exams.
Chetanya Mittal of the Chandigarh Tricity clinched the AIR 4 in the AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam with a 100 percentile this year.
Notably, he also cracked the NEET-UG 2019 with AIR 261 and bagged AIR 5 in the JIPMER 2019 medical entrance exam too.
Chetanya, whose parents are both doctors, aspires to join AIIMS, New Delhi and become an oncologist.
