Have suggestions for Modi's I-Day speech? Here's what to do
The PM is inviting suggestions from anyone and everyone on the Narendra Modi app.
This will be Modi's first Independence Day address after being re-elected for a second term.

Modi wrote on Twitter, "I am delighted to invite you all to share your valuable inputs for my speech on 15th August."
He added, "Let your thoughts be heard by 130 crore Indians from the ramparts of the Red Fort. Contribute on the specially created Open Forum on the NaMo App."
Last year, too, he had asked the public for suggestions for the speech.

NaMo app has received 12,000 suggestions thus far
On the NaMo app, an appeal reads, "As India gears up to mark Independence Day next month, here's an opportunity for you to be part of the occasion and contribute towards nation-building."
"Share your innovative ideas and suggestions for the Prime Minister's speech. PM may include some of the suggestions," it added.
At the time of writing, the app has received 11.9k suggestions.
Respondents suggest addressal of education, women empowerment, etc.
Although most of the responses are spam and a string of 'thank you's, many respondents suggested the PM to address compulsory mass education, women empowerment, the need of clean and potable drinking water, strengthening the armed forces, etc.
A few of the respondents also suggested that Modi should consider starting a new initiative on the lines of the 'Swachh Bharat' campaign.
