Bengaluru: Security firm owner found brutally assaulting employees; arrested
People can really keep their humanity aside at times. This was testified recently after a disturbing video from Bengaluru emerged on social media.
The owner of a security firm was seen stomping on the faces of guards (his employees) for a "mistake". The two guards who were assaulted pleaded for mercy, but their boss didn't listen.
Here's what went down.
Who told you to do it: Owner asked employees
The incident took place on Monday at HSR Layout. The owner of Bangalore Security Force (BSF), identified as one Salim Khan, was seen stomping on faces of two employees while he wore boots.
"Who told you to do it," he said in the video, while one man pleaded, "No, Sir. Won't do it ever again in my life, Sir."
Khan and his associates have been arrested
Reportedly, one of the staff members recorded the entire episode and uploaded it on social media. The clip went viral on Tuesday, forcing police to take suo moto cognizance of it.
Khan and four of his associates have been arrested, said Isha Pant, DCP (Southern).
She revealed Khan went into hiding after the video surfaced and was arrested from his friend's place.
One victim planned to kidnap Khan for money
Cops are investigating various angles to get to the bottom of the incident. According to Deccan Herald, Farizuddin, one of the guards who was assaulted, hatched a plan to extort money from Khan.
The owner apparently didn't pay salaries. So, Farizuddin, a native from Assam, planned to kidnap Khan.
When Khan got a whiff of it, he assaulted the employees.
Meanwhile, the guards have gone missing
Further, the report added Khan has a couple of criminal cases against him. As per reports, people having shady history can't run security agencies. Cops might speak to concerned authorities to cancel his license too.
Meanwhile, the guards have gone missing after the incident and efforts are on to locate them.
"A case has been registered against six accused," Pant said.
Do you know?
Another guard also told Khan he is innocent
Khan was also seen pressing his boots against the guard's neck and pushing him down, which forced him to squeal. He also assaulted another guard while the victim said he didn't know much about what happened. "Beat me, but I don't know," he said.
