Today is recently deceased J Jayalalithaa's 69th birth anniversary.
Since Jayalalithaa passed away on December 5, 2016, state politics and in particular AIADMK has been in massive turbulence.
On this occasion, celebrations are expected to be with much pomp and show and could also become a one upmanship game between the two warring factions to demonstrate their claim to Amma's legacy.
