DetailsWhat is the criteria for autonomy?

According to sources, institutions would be granted autonomy based upon their performance and ranking graded by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

Those institutions which secure "A, A+ or A++" ranks would be eligible for full autonomy. The panel says that by granting these institutions autonomy, they would be able to raise resources independently and can then hire the best faculty.
