Pakistan violates ceasefire in Krishna Ghati sector of J&K
Pakistan started indiscriminate firing and motor shelling along the LoC in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district in J&K on the morning of June 12.
Indian forces retaliated to the unprovoked attack.
The area had been targeted earlier on June 10, when Pakistani troops hurled mortar bombs and resorted to firing.
In the last few days, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire agreement several times.

Bilateral relations have been under strain since some time with increasing attacks by Pakistan. Earlier in May, troops from across the border beheaded two Indian jawans. This comes after New Delhi warned Islamabad of "appropriate retaliatory actions" if Pakistan violates ceasefire.
