J&K: Top LeT terrorist caught in security cordon in Anantnag
Four terrorists including a top Lashkar-e-Taiba member were trapped in security forces' cordon in Anantnag, J&K.
Bashir Lakshari, the wanted LeT terrorist who was caught, and the three others were involved in the killing of six police personnel in Achabal area last month.
An encounter was underway in Brenti village. A civilian was also killed in the cross-firing.

Some civilians believed to be trapped inside a house
Police said forces received intel about some terrorists hiding in Batpora area. To nab them, they were laying a cordon early morning.
But before it was over, terrorists fired upon them from outside a house and security personnel retaliated.
Some civilians are believed to be still trapped inside the house. Efforts were on to evacuate them.
Civilian victim identified as Tahira Begam
The civilian killed was identified as 44-year-old Tahira Begam. She sustained injuries after getting caught in the exchange of fire. She was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
