On 7th July, the CBI raided at least 12 premises of RJD chief Lalu Yadav in a case related to illegal leasing of land. The searches began early morning.
Then IRCTC head PK Goyal has also been charged.

Lalu Yadav allegedly got two-acre plot in exchange for favors
Yadav is accused of illegally facilitating the leasing land in Puri and Ranchi to businessman Harsh Kocchar to run two hotels for the railways, during his tenure as railway minister in 2004-2009.
In exchange, he allegedly got a two-acre plot in Patna. He then sold it to the wife of a party MP, Prem Gupta. Later, ownership was transferred to Yadav's wife and sons.

Bharti and her husband Shailesh Kumar are being probed over allegations that they acquired 'benami' properties.
This raid comes just a day after Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi were charged with corruption by the CBI.
