Preparations

The khichdi will be cooked in special utensil

The khichdi will be cooked in a huge utensil. Delhi BJP SC Morcha President Mohanlal Gihara said, "A specially designed vat, measuring 20 feet in diameter and six feet in depth, will be used to cook the khichdi with ingredients like rice, pulses, salt, and water."

Later the khichdi will be distributed among party workers and attendees of the rally.

Competition

The chef attempted a world record once

For cooking the khichdi, BJP has invited Nagpur based chef Vishnu Manohar. Last year he attempted to cook 3,000 kg of khichdi in a single vessel, in hope of setting a world record.

Notably, in 2017 renowned chef Sanjeev Kapoor scripted history. Kapoor had cooked 918 kg of khichdi at 'World Food India' festival organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries in Delhi.
