Chaudhary first sparked speculations of her joining the BJP when she campaigned for Delhi BJP president and MP from North East Delhi Manoj Tiwari during the recent Lok Sabha elections.
Earlier, rumors had emerged that she would join the rival Congress.
Chaudhary formally joined the BJP in the presence of Tiwari, Union Minister Harsh Vardhan, former Madhya Pradesh CM and BJP vice-president Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP general secretary Ram Lal, and other senior leaders.
Chaudhary, a former Bigg Boss 11 contestant, was welcomed into the party at BJP's newly-launched membership drive program at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, becoming the first member to join from Delhi.

Notably, on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a nationwide membership drive from Varanasi to get more people to join the BJP. The drive will last till August 11 and aims to add over 2 crore workers to the BJP.
To recall, during the 2019 general elections, Chaudhary had campaigned for Tiwari, who was then contesting from the North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. Tiwari now represents the seat in the Parliament.
The campaigning sparked rumors of Chaudhary joining the party, but she had dismissed them, saying, "I have not joined BJP. I'm here because Manoj Tiwari Ji is a good friend of mine."
Interestingly, in March, reports had also emerged that Chaudhary would join the Congress, and would be fielded against BJP's Hema Malini from Mathura.
Congress Uttar Pradesh Chief Raj Babbar even made an announcement about her joining the party.
Pictures of Chaudhary's filled membership form and fee receipt had also emerged.
However, Chaudhary later said, "I've not met Raj Babbar. I've not joined the Congress."
After a picture of Chaudhary with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra went viral in March, BJP MLA Surendra Singh took a jibe at the Haryanvi dancer saying then party president Rahul Gandhi should marry her, adding the country will not "accept" her. The joke's on whom, now?
