Yadav, who is the eldest son of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, dressed-up as Lord Shiva while offering prayers at a Shiva Temple in Patna in the ongoing Shravan month.

Yadav was seen entering the temple with bodyguards and supporters, dressed with fake tiger skin, rudraksha and body smeared with sandalwood paste.
He was also seen wearing Hindu rosaries around his neck and hands.

Even before he married Aishwarya Rai, party legislator Chandrika Rai's daughter, in May 2018, Yadav donned the avatar of Lord Shiva in posters plastered across Patna and Aishwarya was shown as Parvati.
Yadav once dressed as Krishna; also acted in films
Back in 2017, Yadav had also dressed up as Lord Krishna, sporting a dhoti-kurta, a blue jacket, a grey shawl, along with a red turban, a peacock feather, as he played the flute.
