Sacked Delhi minister Kapil Mishra made fresh allegations of financial misappropriation against the AAP, and even produced documents to support his allegation.

He showed documents which alleged that AAP misquoted their financials to the I-T department and EC. He added that Kejriwal was aware of the transactions by the shell companies.

The I-T department has reportedly sent him notices on only 2 of these.

AAP seems to be digging its hole deeper and deeper. Amid several controversies surrounding the party, the Income Tax (I-T) department has now suggested to the Election Commission (EC) that its registration should be cancelled.

Arguing that AAP submitted "wrong" audit reports and so isn't eligible for tax exemptions, I-T stated the party could be prosecuted under 276C and 277A of the I-T Act.

Mishra said that the AAP's mohalla clinics in Delhi were scam ridden and deserved to be investigated.

He also called for an investigation into Arvind Kejriwal's foreign trips.

He demanded Kejriwal's resignation and vowed to put him behind bars.

However, the AAP dismissed the allegations as a "BJP poly to finish AAP."

Mishra faints after presser

Kapil Mishra fainted after the press conference and was unable to share the documents to substantiate his claims. He was admitted to Ram Maohar Lohia hospital, where doctors said he suffered from dehydration and weakness. They said his vitals were fine.

16 May 2017188 firms being investigated for funding AAP have same address

The ongoing probe into the funding of the Aam Aadmi Party by the Income Tax (I-T) Department has revealed one address in Delhi's Jasola, under which 188 companies have been registered.

The department is investigating how many of them have donated funds to AAP.

I-T officials said the probe was launched before sacked Minister Kapil Sharma made allegations of hawala transactions done by AAP.

17 May 2017Will fast till Mishra proves Kejriwal's alleged corruption: Jha

As AAP legislator Sanjeev Jha's hunger strike entered the fourth day, he vowed not to stop till "(Kapil Mishra) reveals the time when he went to Kejriwal's house on May 5".

The fast will continue till Mishra proves Kejriwal took Rs. 2cr bribe as he had alleged, Jha iterated.

However, he said several MLAs had visited him, but not Kejriwal or Manish Sisodia.

17 May 2017Kapil Mishra presents "evidence" against Kejriwal to CBI

Sacked AAP minister Kapil Mishra presented "evidence" to CBI against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and two MLAs alleging "irregularities in donations, black money used to fund AAP and involvement of shell companies".

He was accompanied by former AAP worker Neil Haslam, who reportedly helped him retrieve the documents.

"The truth will soon come out before the public. Now Arvind Kejriwal cannot escape," he tweeted.
