ECS LIVA Q pocket-sized mini-PC launched in India

As an addition to its family of ultra-compact mini PCs, Elitegroup Computer System (ECS) has launched its latest model called the LIVA Q.

Measuring at 7x7x3.14 centimeters and weighing just 260 grams, this ultra-sized mini PC belies its size.

It features Intel Apollo Lake processors and comes with support for Windows 10 along with capability of running Ubuntu Linux as well.

The LIVA Q comes loaded with features you expect in a pocket PC.

Alongside support for Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux, we get 4GB/2GB of RAM and 64GB/32GB of eMMC storage options.

The LIVA Q supports HDMI 2.0 for graphic output and 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) video, making it, as per the company, 'the smallest 4K capable Pocket PC' available today.


PC like functionality, in fraction of a size

The ECS LIVA Q comes with two SoC options - quad-core Intel Pentium N4200 or dual-core Celeron N3350 - coupled with 2GB/4GB of LPDDR4 memory and 32/64GB of eMMC storage options which can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD.

In terms of connectivity and I/O ports, you get a USB3.1 Type-A port and USB2.0 port, one HDMI 2.0 port, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1.

Using a VESA mount, you can hide your LIVA Q

LIVA Q comes with a VESA mount that will allow you to hang/hide the mini-pc behind TVs/monitors. VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) is a US-based organization of over 300 companies that have together defined standards for displays and buses used in consumer electronics industry.

Launched in India

ECS has priced the LIVA Q 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant with Windows 10 Home at Rs. 15,500 (excluding taxes). This same LIVA Q model, without an OS, has been priced at Rs. 13,500.

Both models will be available in India through authorized ECS partners, e-commerce channels and offline reseller channels.
