Flipkart-owned Myntra launches Blink Go fitness tracker for Rs. 4,199

Flipkart-owned Myntra has entered the wearables space with Blink Go - its first fitness tracker developed by the company's in-house innovation lab.

The launch comes weeks after the fashion e-commerce giant acquired WitWorks - a Bengaluru-based start-up that produces smart wearable devices.

Priced at Rs. 4,199, the Blink Go comes with a host of fitness-related features including activity tracking and heart rate monitoring.

The Blink Go smart wearable can track activities such as steps, calories, sleep and can also monitor heart rate via a dedicated sensor.

You can also set personal fitness goals including Sleep Goals which lets you set a weekly sleep goal, create bedtime reminders, and wake-up targets.

The device also offers 'Leaderboard' for challenging friends on fitness tasks and 'Achievement Sharing' for sharing milestones.

Blink Go is water-resistant and can pair with your smartphone

The Blink Go smart wearable features a color TFT touchscreen display and comes with several interchangeable designer straps.

The device is water-resistant (IP 67-rated), supports Bluetooth 4.0 and offers 3-5 days of battery life.

It is compatible with Android (5.1+) and iOS (10+) and can be synced with your smartphone to receive call/text alerts along with notifications for WhatsApp and mail, among others.

The Blink Go is built on Myntra Wearable Platform - the company's software platform that will power its wearable products and that of other OEMs. The platform allows wearables to "discover and communicate with each other" and will be the basis for all future wearables.
