As part of its Mi Crowdfunding program, Xiaomi has introduced two variants of Mi Sunglasses in India.
Dubbed as Mi Polarized Wayfarer and Mi Polarized Aviator, both sunglasses have successfully completed their respective goals of 800 units and 1,200 units.
Xiaomi has also announced that the sunglasses will be shipped for free starting January 1.
Here's more about these Mi Sunglasses.
Mi Wayfarer glasses feature a flexible TR90 frame, whereas the Mi Aviator sports a 304H Metal frame.
Xiaomi claims both sunglasses have scratch resistant glasses and offer 100% protection (upto 400 nanometers) against UVA, UVB and UVC rays.
Notably, these glasses also feature O6 layered lens technology that helps eliminate glare and polarized light to offer improved contrast.
Currently, under the Mi Crowdfunding program, both glasses are being offered at a discounted price.
The Mi Polarized Wayfarer is available for Rs. 699 (MRP: Rs. 999) while the Mi Polarized Aviator is priced at Rs. 899 (MRP: Rs. 1,199).
The Wayfarer variant comes in Blue and Grey colors and the Aviator model can be purchased in Blue and Green color options.
The project for Mi Wayfarers has been successfully completed and Xiaomi is not accepting orders for it. However, Mi Aviator is still available.
To place an order, simply log in using your Mi Account credentials (sign up if you don't have an account).
Once logged in, go to the Mi Aviator product page, click on "Support Now" and follow instructions to place the order.
Back in April, Xiaomi introduced the Mi Crowdfunding project in India with the Mi Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Mi Selfie Stick Tripod.
And later in May, following a successful response, the company made these products available for all via its online store (Mi.com).
Currently, the Mi Bluetooth Audio Receiver retails at Rs. 999 while the Mi Selfie Stick Tripod sells for Rs. 1,099.
