This camera update brings support for 4K and 1080p video recording on the Poco F1, making it a solid competitor to other premium flagship smartphones.
That said, the update is being presently rolled out only for beta users. And after initial testing, this feature will be made available for all on a stable version, according to the official announcement.
If you have successfully installed the update, you can right away enable support for higher video quality. Simply go to Settings > Camera > Settings > Video Quality. Under video quality, you should see options for UHD 4K at 60fps and FHD 1080p at 60fps.
Poco F1 features a rear dual-camera setup comprising a 12MP (f/1.9) main sensor and a 5MP (f/2.0) depth sensor. The main camera currently supports 4K videos at 30fps and 960fps slow-motion video recording. Up front, there's a 20MP selfie snapper which supports AI-based Portrait mode.
