Chinese tech-giant OPPO is all set to launch its Reno series of smartphones in India on May 28. Reportedly, the company has started sending the press invites for the upcoming launch event. To recall, the Reno series which features OPPO Reno, OPPO Reno 10x Zoom and OPPO Reno 5G debuted in China last month. Here is our roundup. The company is expected to launch OPPO Reno and OPPO Reno 10x Zoom in India. Given the lack of 5G network in India, the OPPO Reno 5G is unlikely to arrive in India. Both OPPO Reno and OPPO Reno 10x zoom feature notch-less screen design achieved by adopting a wedge-shaped pop-up selfie camera. The OPPO Reno sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. On the other hand, the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom features a taller 6.6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. Interestingly, both the phones offer an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The OPPO Reno offers a dual rear camera setup with a 48MP (f\/1.7) primary camera, paired with a 5MP (f\/2.4) depth sensor. Meanwhile, OPPO Reno 10x Zoom sports a triple rear camera setup comprising 48MP (f\/1.7) primary lens accompanied with a 13MP secondary sensor and 8MP ultra-wide lens. Up front, both the phones offer a 16MP (f\/2.0) front-facing camera packed in a pop-up module. Under the hood, the OPPO Reno packs a Snapdragon 710 chipset while the Reno 10x Zoom is backed by a flagship Snapdragon 855 processor. Both the phones offer 6GB\/8GB RAM and 128GB\/256GB of internal storage. The OPPO Reno has 3,765mAh battery while the Reno 10x Zoom is backed by 4,065mAh battery. Also, both the devices support VOOC 3.0 (20W) fast-charging. In China, the OPPO Reno starts at CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 30,900) and Reno 10x Zoom starts at CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 41,200). Hence, we can expect the phones to arrive in India at a similar price range.
