Xiaomi Mi LED Smart Bulb, which was launched in India via the Mi Crowdfunding platform, is now available on open sale.
It offers a life span of 11 years and supports 16 million colors which can be changed remotely via the Mi Home App.
The smart bulb is currently up for grabs via Amazon, Flipkart, and Mi.com at Rs. 1,299.
Here's all about it.
The Mi LED Smart Bulb, compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, offers a claimed lifespan of 11 years and supports upto 16 million colors.
You can control the bulb via Mi Home app, set schedules, and change brightness/color.
Moreover, unlike other smart bulbs, the Mi offering doesn't require an additional bridge or hub for wireless connectivity.
According to Xiaomi, the Mi Smart Bulb emits 800 lumens of light and consumes just 10W of energy. It can be connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection and controlled via the Mi Home app.
Further, the smart bulb also offers a good range of brightness as you can adjust the color temperature anywhere from 1,700-6,500 Kelvin.
The Mi LED smart bulb comes with an E27 base. Hence, if you are using B22 holders in your home, you will need to separately buy an E27 to B22 converter to be able to use the bulb.
Back in April 2018, Xiaomi introduced the Mi Crowdfunding project in India with the Mi Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Mi Selfie Stick Tripod.
Later in December, the Chinese tech giant launched the Mi Sunglasses via the same platform.
And, as recently as February this year, the company introduced its Mi Sports Shoes 2 in India via the crowdfunding platform itself.
