In a matter of weeks, Chinese giant OnePlus is expected to barge into the smart television category by unveiling the super-impressive OnePlus TV.

The TV set is expected to offer a stunningly beautiful display, and now, OnePlus has itself confirmed that it will sport a number of Google-powered features, including built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant.

OnePlus TV to offer 55-inch QLED display with 4K resolution

Based on several teasers and leaks, OnePlus TV is expected to debut as a flagship television with a 55-inch QLED display in India.

It will reportedly have a nearly bezel-less 4K display, with a density of 320 pixels per inch, as well as Dolby Vision support.

Notably, we could also see more screen sizes of the television, going up to 75-inches, in select markets.

OnePlus India General Manager confirmed the association with Google

"We believe that with our combined expertise, we can move even closer to improve the human experience through simplicity, efficiency, and intelligent functionality," OnePlus India General Manager Vikas Agarwal told India Today, adding that they are looking to expand their presence in the TV category.

The date has not been confirmed, but a September launch is certainly likely, considering the company has been working and teasing the TV for a long while now.
